Rooms are a young 2 piece band from Sydney that craft a psychedelic blend of live instrumentation and electronics. Their music is cinematic and epic in scope. It has been described as ethereal, warm with a magical shimmer, atmospheric and bass heavy. The band is influenced by avant garde artists like Caribou and Radiohead, and the grooves of instrumental hip hop. The band strives to explore new territory in their work and often take risks in the quest for originality and honesty. Their live show combines floating vocals with manic drumming, and atmospheric washes of delayed guitar and keys.
