Rory Faithfield is now a resident of South Western Australia after many years based in Ireland, where his South West Australian theme song, 'Big Blue Western Skies’ (inspired by the end of 'The Troubles' in Northern Ireland) was heard regularly on BBC Radio Ulster. Currently promoting his new album ’Southern Cross, Northern Skies’, performing solo with acoustic guitar, harmonicas and a loop station. Bruce Elder stated, "Faithfield inhabits the same rich musical world as Christy Moore, Luka Bloom and Glen Hansard. His songs are wistful, romantic, deeply felt, beautifully crafted and sung with a voice that pours sincerity and emotion over every line and note”.
