Having won an APRA award for excellence in composition (2007), spent 4 years working primarily as a multi-instrumental session musician with Sydney's elite and completing her debut studio record, Rosalind has begun releasing her songs. Preferring to experiment with the market, she is digitally-releasing each song on its own, instead of following the well-worn path of "CD album release" that most other artists choose to follow. The first of these have been received well in their first wave of digital sales, and attracted immediate media attention. She finds a lot of pleasure in acting as a mentor to other budding independent artists and collaborates on a regular basis with a wide variety of prestigious musicians; the result of which is an unusually diverse body of work which has been steadily growing since 2006. These works include music which falls into categories such as electronica, funk, folk, rock, jazz and blues.
