I am a Sydney singer songwriter who splits my time between here and the U.S. namely Austin, Texas where I have a publishing deal with a small label called Tres Hombres. When I first got to Texas I had only been playing guitar for less than a year but had already written a good body of songs so started to play the open mics. I was approached by two different producers and actually started to work with both but ultimately recorded and released a c.d. called Personal Effects through Tres Hombres. You can hear this on my site or on iTunes. Back in Sydney I recorded a four song EP followed soon after by a full length cd called Motherland. My latest album, Mood Swings is now also available on iTunes. All my songs can be previewed or listened to on my website wwwrosannamendez.com. I am currently doing local gigs in Sydney with my band and plan to go back to Austin Texas soon to do some gigs there. My new album Mood Swings was recently featured on Stuart Coupes Dirt Music show on 2SER and
