ROSEGOLD is an internet raised, hyper-pop inspired, covid baby of a pop-punk band; born at the ass end of 2020. Lineup including queer, nonbinary front-them Aidan Valentine on vocals and guitar, Nadia Shaw on backup vocals and bass as well as Joe Mulqueen on drums. Pop punk has grown stale After years of lacking innovation and being riddled with scandal; Aidan Valentine (EX-Hell Average) took a hint from modern hip hop and decided to start a creative & completely DIY project called ROSEGOLD. Teaming up with Nadia Shaw (EX-High Rise Estate) and Joe Mulqueen (also EX-Hell Average), this project was born from a bedroom and has been taken to the streets. Keeping in mind an ‘outside of the box’ attitude, hardcore ethics, and making a point to fuse genres like Hyperpop and Jazz with Pop Punk- Aidan strives to write music that resonates with Queer and other marginalised people, seeing as growing up- open and honest queer representation was something missing within the Alternative music
