Roth
We are a band who write, record, film and release something new every three or so months. Technically they are ‘singles’, in the same way Pizza Hut is technically an Italian restaurant. Our music is probably considered ‘garage’ but we keep an eye on everything from surf to skate to grunge. We are influenced by our friends, their bands, our shitty jobs and other things.
Roth is a rapper from Sydney, Australia. Real name Nick Roth. His music is all about bridging the gaps between old school hip/hop and the sounds of modern hip/hop, making for a catchy, yet direct and edgy sound. He loves to record and engineer his own music and even produce his own beats. Having been active as a writer since the young age of 14, Roth really worked hard to refine his craft and come up with a very original creative approach. Everything changed when he bought his first Tupac CD back in 1995, as that’s how he fell in love with rap music. Roth’s new album ‘You Cant Buy Hunger’ is out now on Spotify & iTunes.
