Royal. Born in Griffith New South Wales, was Raised in Uruguay by his latin parents, but then later on migrated to Brisbane Queensland when he was 11 years old. Royal decided to MC at the age of 16,but didn't fully get into it until he was 17.It all started when he saw a bunch of guys spitting rhymes in a circle together, thats when he decided to give it a go. Since then there was no turning back. It has been a life of 16 bars, chorus's, rhymes and tracks.

Royal is a creative outlet for myself (Ameera) and music partner Bish Malik. We came together as a songwriting/production team and clicked really well. Our passion is to write for other artists; but we felt some of the songs were so fitting to us personally - that it made sense to create our own side project.

Royal is a pop duo located in Sydney, Australia with a musical focus in mainstream, commercial pop songs. Members include Bish Malik, a Sydney based producer creating electronic music, and Ameera Black, the stunning voice of Royal. Together, independently, they write and produce their songs, wanting to share them with the Australian musical world.
