There’s little separation between Ruby Gilbert’s life and her music. Since her 2018 debut EP Dearly Beloved, she has captivated audiences with story driven narratives - hauntingly confessional and cinematic. She has shared the stage with C.W. Stoneking, Justin Townes Earle, and The Teskey Brothers. With a style that nods to the nostalgia of Old-time classics, Ruby delivers timelessness with an unconventional edge. She has earned multiple Queensland Music Award nominations, and appeared at some of Australia’s most celebrated festivals and industry showcases, including Gympie Music Muster, BIGSOUND, and TEDx. Her music has also been featured on Netflix and ABC. Her forthcoming release ‘Goddamn Fool’, produced by ARIA Award-winner, Nash Chambers (Kasey Chambers, Paul Kelly) at The Rabbit Hole Recording Studio, unveils an even more vivid sonic universe, delivering storytelling that cuts deep.
