In 2013 Newcastle rock outfit Run Squirrel had made quite the name for themselves in their home town and interstate. In their short career they have Supported such international acts as Defiance Ohio, Dead To Me, Cobra Skulls, Bomb The Music Industry as well bigger Australian acts such as Jamie Hay, The Smith Street Band and Harmony to name just a few. With influences from country, folk, punk, hardcore, metal and post-rock being drawn on from all members, Run Squirrel's music is eclectic yet cohesive and puts a tasty spin on the normal rock song. From punchy and hard hitting bass and rhythm sections, intricate, melodic drum work and reverb washed lead guitar, topped off with Thomas' emotive and visceral voice, there's something for everyone in Run Squirrel. Run Squirrel have a new EP out titled 'Something More Forever' released in 2019. The EP features 6 songs. Now up on Spotify and Bandcamp!
