In short: We are three lads from the suburbs of Melbourne creating music in our drummers garage, pissing off neighbors and playing it to anyone who cares to listen. The long story: It all started a few years ago when drummer, Harris Charalambous and Guitarist Lachlan Hunter met at school and noticed a similar interest in music taste. Keen on starting a band and playing music together they asked friend, Tristan Nati, if he'd be interested in jamming too. One thing led to another and he picked up the bass and thus started the early days. After a struggle to find anyone to sing, guitarist Lachlan took to the mic as a last resort and belted out vocals to let loose all anger and frustration. Being backed by Harris enthusiasm and animalistic way around the drums and Tristan's thumping, head bobbing, groove on the bass, Runaway Husky was formed. After recording two songs (with more to come) in Harris' garage with whatever equipment they could muster up, they set out to triple J unearthed
