Ryan has a style to his own, with a broad range of influences. Ryan chooses to record and release only limited run of cd's/tapes on his own label. He sees this self-recording as a creative release, thus being able to move on and continue the process of creation. Ryan started writing poetry in 1994, also playing guitar for fun on the side. Ryan did not start writing songs till 1999 when the written form became boring. Ryan decided to start writing in a song format, this became the bench mark of Ryans idea for creative release of his music. In 2000 Ryan recorded 2 tapes both mini albums and released a handfull of hand numbered tapes. In 2001 his 3rd release a ep of photographic related songs. This point Ryan had gone electric and his sound was elevated to a new creative level. Once again only a handfull of tapes were made. After a break from recording ryan was recording and accumulating gear to gain more of a "sound". In 2002 Ryan played solo at SNAP! under the name "Ryan Lovelee"
