Ryan has a unique voice, and has learnt piano on and off for three years, always developing his skills by himself away from lessons. He has sung since he was a small child, but only began to take formal lessons this year. Over the years he has performed in amateur theatre productions in both ensemble and supporting roles, in school choirs, and once in a ten tenor choir at a carols evening. The lyrics he writes either reflect events in his life, or they feed off his fantasy writer self and tell a fantastical story.
