S&M Project are two mates who have grown up in a small town just out of Melbourne and both share a passion for music. We play in a rock band together, The Teslas, but with that on hold while people travel we have turned to another love, DANCE MUSIC! Both of us had been into writing electronic music for a while, but it wasn't until we started our colabaration that we began to fine tune our sound, style and production skills, By feeding off each other, much like we would jamming with the band, we were able to create something we couldn't do on our own. So, after many a weekend locked away in "The Bus" writing music together "S&M Project" was born. Using the Korg ESX-EMX anologue production range, we have developed a funky organic sound using a variety of genre's from Minimal Tech, Psyfunk and Progessive, which has often been described as an unique creation, with a very distinct sound.
