Bio history
S.S.A. have been playing in Perth since back in 2006 with, as usual, a few beers, a few jam sessions and a few more beers. Most of them having played in various punk bands around the traps previously, S.S.A spawned directly from local punk cover band ‘The Screwed Up’. They draw their inspiration from a wide source of music ranging from early 80’s hardcore punk to early Jamaican ska and a whole lot in between. Over the Past few years they have carved out their own sound from DIY punk rock origins to a more complete sound with quality song writing being the main focus. Their more recent material is definitely their proudest work. They have played gigs at many venues in Perth and have even toured to isolated areas of WA such as Mandurah. 2008 saw them make their way across the Nullarbor to Melbourne for a couple of shows and are keen to organise a full Australian tour (when we can scrape the coin together).... all to spread their message and love. Debut album ‘…a romantic interlude’
