ADD ME myspace.com/djsafariboy Dj, producer, photographer, Eddie Whadcoat (SAFARI BOY) started his roots in music back when he was just seven years old. Learning the piano, musical theory and compositions in the early eighties. Following on through his school years in several bands on keyboard and percussion. He became interested in writing and composing producing many of his own works for the piano. Later taking this musical experience and background into Dj performances. Eddie has long been fascinated by the percussion based music from many world cultures such as Brazil, Africa, Carribean and Arabic/ Middle eastern countries. The unique rhythms and sound of SAFARI BOY is the result of the mergings of european and world musical elements to produce a truely original style. From the very haunting almost movie sountrack like arrangements to very boistresly Tribal rich dance music. On the recent front SAFARIBOY has been more and more involved in the production of soundtrack material
