Almost a year since the release of their Australian Music Prize longlisted second album "Tie Your Soul To Mine" comes the new EP from Newcastle's Safe Hands, "Disenchanted, I'm Sure". The four new songs were recorded over the course of two weekends in June of this year at Woodriver Studios, a startup creative space co-owned by band drummer Isaac Gibson. The sessions were helmed by Melbourne based musician/producer Lincoln le Fevre (who also contributes guest vocals to lead single "Pine") and find the band confidently cementing themselves within the realm of melodic, cathartic rock music, completely untethered from the heavier tendencies of their early releases.
