Salarymen is the artistic output of Sydney-based duo Renee de la Motte and Thom Eagleton. Their ever-evolving sound drifts between genres, leading to a sonically-rich mixture of pop, psych, rock and folk elements in their music. The pair command attention from any crowd with compelling songwriting, carefully crafted visuals and enthralling live performances. In 2023, Salarymen had one of their biggest year’s yet, performing at both SXSW Austin and SXSW Sydney, completing their debut tour of Japan, touring nationally with Royel Otis and playing at Lost Paradise over NYE. Since then, they’ve earned multiple triple j premieres, play on BBC6, Radio X, KEXP, regular spots on local / international Spotify playlists and Apple Music NMD, features on NME, Clash, Pilerats and Life Without Andy, rotation on FBi, 2SER and SYN and much more.
