My Name is Sam McKinlay and I live in Bagdad (without the 'h'), Tassie. Now that I've given you something to chew on, I have been active in music since the end of Primary School, performed on a few Tassie Schools CD's, and represented my schools in 'battle of the bands' type scenarios. One of my biggest achievements was to be a part of a local band playing at the Basin Festival, at Cataract Gorge (Launceston, TAS) where Hunters and Collectors played one of their last shows. I was/am heavily attracted to the Grunge scene and as a vocalist I definately see 'throat hemorrhaging' as a beautiful concept. With my solo work I also work with other musicians so my songs can be something in between like Nirvana Unplugged right through to vintage Soundgarden.
