With a voice like a chainsaw, dipped in honey, and set on fire, Sam and his band effortlessly blend lush, quick flowing arrangements of hard-hitting drums, guitars, strings, and winds, with raw, passionate lyrics, soaring melancholic melody lines, and pop sensibility.  He has been compared to bands like Twenty One Pilots, Death, John Lennon, Slayer, and “if The Beatles or Billy Joel was metal.”
