Not long after he began releasing music in early 2022, Sami caught the attention of Australian industry powerhouse Triple J Unearthed. This led to the teenager, fresh out of high school, opening shows for some of the country’s biggest acts, including Mallrat and Ninajirachi. Writing songs from as young as 10 years old and producing self-taught since 15, Sami has spent years refining every aspect of his craft. His music moves between R&B, Pop, House, Afrobeats and Rap, unified by his distinct, emotional and cinematic songwriting. Sami has since performed at festivals such as St Kilda Festival and Spilt Milk alongside acts such as Post Malone and Dom Dolla. In 2025, he released his debut EP 'If Not Now, When?', featuring standout singles 'If Not Me, Who?' and 'Back To The City'. With nonstop releases planned throughout 2026, Sami is rapidly building his brand as one of Australia’s most exciting artists.
