"SAMM" is an acronym. We wanted the band name to represent the essence of what it was we had come together to achieve and no insect or other object of fascination captured what the band was about or held any true meaning, We used the working title "living room" for a time, the living room at home is where songs were written and practises were done, we also gigged around sydney using this name always knowing the name was not permanent. All our recording is done with our good friend "Christian Lauria" of "Machine Men" studios sydney australia and sometime during the sessions "Leo" founding member and songwriter put forward "Sessions at machine men" or as written above "Samm" as the name, keyboardist and singer/songwriter "Patricia" and "Ant" our drummer both agreed the name had an eseoteric animation representing a time and a part of our lives but also having a life of its own. The Album recorded at "Machine Men" studios/ oct - nov 2012 Engineer: Christian Lauria Producer: Leo
