Saphyre is a Melbourne Australia based music recording entity which winked into existence in the 90's. We started off playing covers in sleazy singles clubs and bars around town before progressing to sleazy recording studios to lay down some of our original creations. We are passionate lovers of all music and take an orgasmic delight in its power, beauty and omnipresence. We marvel at its ability to communicate in a language so much more intimate and sensual than any mere conversation could ever be. We often aspire to convey and channel the deeper and more poignant aspects of life and have a tendency to delve deep into the past for inspiration and enlightenment. At other times we simply lighten up with joyful little numbers like "Mr Bacon" and "Captain Rowdy". We invite you to pour yourself a measure of your favourite nectar, dim the lights, settle yourself comfortably in your favourite chair and partake in some musical intercourse. We do hope you like it.
