Sapphire Street are an art rock project with a habit of carving their own tasteful path straight through the boundaries of genre definition. Their music is the culmination of a wide range of influences ranging from classic rock and jazz to modern alternative genres, resulting in a unique and engaging sound. Made up by George Inglis (vocals, guitar, keys), Luca Soprano (drums, vocals) and Luke Gonzales (guitar, keys, vocals), the group’s roots are in psychedelic rock, as explored on their 2018 & 2019 studio releases. They have since delved deeper into the experimental with 2020's LP ‘Patchwork’ and 2022’s ‘The Daily Drip’, and recent EPs ‘Filth’ (2023), and ‘Fluff’ (2024). From 2023 and onwards, the members spread instrumental collaboration into bands such as Fairtrade Narcotics and Sputnik Sweetheart, whilst producing others through their label Groovecult Records. Now with their 4th full length studio album entering release, they excitedly share lead single 'The View' with the world.
