Melbourne-based songstress Sarah Giufre is creating a presence in the live music scene as she prepares for the 2011 release of her self-produced debut album, Tuesday. As quirky as the artist herself, Tuesday sits between many genres and is surprising at every turn. Sarah’s songs are thick with layers and storytelling. Crickets, bellbirds, spaceships, morse code and old projectors sit beside cello, guitar, drums and double bass with Sarah’s distinctive piano playing and vocal lines tying everything together. www.myspace/sarahgiufre.com
