Sarah-Jo Bramfit's bold musical language is rooted in the early traditions of songwriting. The upcoming singer-songwriter places poetic storytelling and singable melodies at the heart of her music. Ever-expanding, Sarah-Jo liberally weaves together elements of country, rock, folk and jazz. The artist's sound is synonymous with her cascading soprano vocals, rich harmonies and powerful dynamism. Her lyrics are personal, revealing a romanticist grappling with the discord between her dreams and reality. Through song the artist works through her own limitations, contradictions and shifting perspectives. In a digital age Sarah-Jo opts for a more stripped back sound, harnessing the power of an old-school classic.
