..our band is a bastard child born from the ashes & aspirations of our past bands and projects. But we love it so... It’s the mutant spawn of a pop scientist, a blues satanist, a concert pianist, a psychedelic sleeper… and a drummer. A seemingly immaculate conception, but we know about the attraction of strangers, and we think diversity is the spice of life... We write & rehearse in our little underground studio which is littered with electrical hazards, constantly floods, and is neighboured by some men with very strange sexual habits. But the glass is half full, & our small slice of real estate heaven gives us the freedom to polish our songs into creatures that have their own personalities. Of course, people like to make comparisons... some say we remind them of The Bees since we don’t mind a bit of genre-hopping. Some have said the Cold War Kids for the fact that the songs are emotional without being ‘emo’. And some say Ok Go since our tracks tend to have a catchy upbeat vibe.
