Brainchild & vision of guitarist/vocalist Declan Kelly, SCARES is a five piece heavy rock band from Melbourne, Australia. Dark, groovy & ferociously mind-bending, the band combine their penchant for the strange with a flare for crafting wicked, hook-driven tunes that offer windows into the dark arts of psychedelic rock. After releasing a self-titled EP in 2018, and the well received singles ‘A Scourge’ & ‘Shirley Temple of Doom’ in 2021, the band will soon return with their hotly anticipated follow up single ‘HEX’ in 2024. 'Hex' sees the band swapping breakneck, acid-rock-freak-outs for a groovy, ghoulish witch's brew that seeps further into their dark & freaky world of rock and roll. Behold the devilish rock ‘n roll of SCARES!
