Scott Candlish opens the door to a good honest chat or perhaps a vulnerable cry. Through his authentic lyrics and familiar falsetto the indie-folk singer-songwriter pulls you into his dark emotive soundscapes. Drawing on recognizable favourites in the field/genre/influences (Bon Iver, Ben Howard, Ry X), Candlish pins notable harmonies and intricate fingerstyle to carve his inner narrative. Candlish has just released his new single ‘Need You Now’ in September. The tender new track is one that asks the question of how vulnerable do we allow ourselves to be. After almost 2 years his last single, the new track offers his brand of honest lyrics combined with gratitude for the ones closest to him. Having already accumulated an impressive catalogue of releases, Candlish has grown a loyal following in both fans and industry alike largely. His most recent release saw explosive track ‘New Day’ catch the attention of many hearts and landed a variety of playlists.
