Born in New Zealand but raised in Brisbane, Australia from a young age - Scotty MacFarlane began his creative journey at the age of 14 - making use of a cheap computer microphone and basic freeware programs on the family computer in the living room. Scotty would wait for his folks to go out and for the dogs to stop barking so he could overdub an acoustic guitar, a casio keyboard and a blend of vocals to create 5 albums that nobody ever heard. Now at the age of 30 with an established career of international stage performances under his belt in various tribute shows - Scotty has reconnected with his roots to continue with a much more driven and advanced journey of home music production featuring soulful vocals, interesting lyrics and simple yet lush arrangements. Inspired by a strong influence of anything from The Beatles to Arctic Monkeys - slowly but surely Scotty has managed to develop his own sound that is both modern and filled with echo's of decades gone by.
