I was born on the south side of Chicago in the Fall of Love, 1969. My father was a military man and my parents made sure I knew christian family values. We lived in California, Alabama, Virginia, Texas, and Germany all by the age of 14. Then we settled in the Kansas City area; where my parents still reside, married forty-four years. I'm the oldest of four, with a brother and two adopted sisters. I started playing saxophone in year six school band, and play it to this day. Finally learned guitar basics by my sixth attempt at age twenty, and haven't put it down since. Graduated high school as a typical teenager and then went to uni on my father's scholarship plan only to drop out after 3 1/2 years. At 23, I hitched-hiked to Hollywood,CA with my saxophone and a juicer, destined to find musical fame; only to return home after 4 months to rethink. Then again at 24, on the road, my first "big" tour which ended when my Camaro blew up in the Rocky Mountains. Rebuilt the engine; broke a leg
