Self Made Guru's line up of Andy Rewguru Taylor(Bass, vocals),Rob Tunns Tunney(rhythm guitar, lead guitar, keyboards and vocals) and Johnny Boom Boom Mckay(drums, percussion and vocals) began playing in early 2010 playing live gigs with songs from the previous S.M.G. line up. The band has quickly built up a reputation as a hard rocking and energetic original live act and have taken this momentum into the studio to record the bands first true release"Trouble"which is due for launch early 2012. The band has always enjoyed entertaining live and have always amused audiences with their on stage ribbing of each other and interaction with the punters at each performance. With a real knack for writing catchy songs about humans in general and the way they interact with each other and in relationships in general, you get all the attributes of a great Australian rock band in the making.
