Based on a Latin word meaning "to be always faithful", the band embodies this theme to the end. The diverse backgrounds and influences of each member, bonded by a kindred spirit contribute to create a forged and uniform identity that is... Semper Fi... From auspicious beginnings in the drummer’s garage, to jamming in rehearsal studios, recording demos at the singer’s home studio and doing time on MTV, this band has gone from strength to strength. With a passion for music that speaks beyond the notes that are played and the genre they are in, a wide palate of influences shape the sound of Semper Fi – exemplified by the ‘genre hopping’ from song to song that would seemingly occur and the difficulty in classifying the band.
