Sensitive Freight are a three piece, who are based in Newcastle, NSW. Band members include Chris Webb, on guitar and vocals, Pete Witt on Bass, and Ray Palmer on drums. The boys also like to mix it up a bit and throw in some congas, uke, keys or other percussion, when they can. Chris grew up in the highlands of Papua New Guinea, and those influences have never left him, other influences are wide and varied from “the Streets” to “Silverchair”. But the boys also enjoy the work of great Aussie song writers like Tim Rogers, Paul Kelly, and Darren Hanlon. Their mainly acoustic pop/rock will get your toes tapping and their infectious tunes play over and over in your head. With lyrics that range from the sadness of widows, to the importance of real coffee, Sensitive Freight undoubtedly have a wide appeal.
