Equal parts moody, melodic and eclectic... SENTIA are a progressive / alternative rock band from Melbourne. In defiance of cautionary tales of cosmic peril, these shape-shifting sound pioneers have charted their course through a galaxy of influences, daring to orbit synthwave, indie, metal, reggae and beyond. Their sonic spacecraft; a groove-laden fusion of immersive synth-scapes and intricate guitars, fronted by the captivating theatrics of vocalist Amos Phillips. Stalwarts (or is that stale warts?) of the Melbourne prog and alt-rock community, Sentia's flair for the dynamic, dramatic and cinematic has become a signature of the band's awe-inspiring live shows, setting them apart as stellar anomalies in the Australian alternative scene. Sentia's latest single, WINTERSON, continues the band’s string of new releases produced with the legendary Forrester Savell (Karnivool, The Butterfly Effect, Cog, The Omnific) with drums engineered by Luke Palmer (Dead Letter Circus).
