Sex Killed Obsession play a new style of music that combines punk vocals with “80’s heavy” guitar riffs Beginning in 2005, the 3-piece band played covers by Metallica to Green Day. With more confidence they began to compose music of their own. Trenton left the band leaving Jake and Daniel. Peter a piano and keyboard player joined creating an experimental, softer approach for the band. The band were always trying new things with Jake leading the way. They were then onto playing covers by Nirvana and Led Zeppelin. This gave the band more confidence to write new and better songs. Peter left as the band headed a different direction. The attraction to the 80’s sore them going back in time to the 80's With a new style, image and motivation, the band’s continuing composing will eventually produce a self-financed demo. The base Sex Killed Obsession has created for itself, through determination and passion for music, can lead only to a successful future. Written By Alex
