The origins of SEXY/HEAVY are from Wellington NZ where founding members Logan Jeffs (aka Knave Knixx) and Ross Walker (ex Connan and the Mockasins) got together to make Sexy Heavy Boom Bam ... Fellow Wellington friends BEASTWARS and Sexy/Heavy played their first series of shows together, the first of which was in a basement of a tugboat of all places. Sexy/Heavy are named after their sound - punchy and hard yet swaggery and saucy like a heavy metal chocolate pudding eaten by Scarlett Johansson. Now based in Melbourne Australia. Sexy/Heavy recorded their debut album with their own home studio gear except for tracking drums which was played by SHIHAD's Tom Larkin at his Studio's In The City in Brunswick. The founding members have added two additional members to the live line up and are currently gigging. Stay tuned with Sexy/Heavy via their website.
