"There is day. There is night. Shades appear in dark and light." -D.S. Shades Allure is a four piece high energy, neo- romantic, poetic rock band with psychedelic and world music influences. Originally conceived in May 2007, Shades Allure is Dion: guitar, vocals; Christine: keys. In March 2008, the band went into Incubator Studios to record an EP that features four popular tracks that are now available from either the Myspace, Triple J or MP3.com.au addresses. "In divided shrines light has lost its shine." -D.S. The first single, Divided Shrines, explores the dichotomy of day and night, a metaphor for the human affinity to separate the individual from the collective.
