Shale is brother and sister acoustic duo; Daniel and Michaela Davis. Akin to many humble music beginnings, Daniel and Michaela began jamming in the shed with their siblings at a young age. Always under the musical guidance of Mum, Belinda - herself a gifted musician and vocalist - and in the shadow of the shale rock face of Mount Nameless in the mining community of Tom Price. Returning to Bunbury as young adults, they began writing and performing originals - along with haunting acoustic covers - at first to family and friends but then rapidly being noticed by entertainment agencies and local music competition organisers, winning the coveted HotFM Centre Stage competition and recording time in 2015. Now dedicated to making music and performing their career, Daniel and Michaela are solidly booked for corporate functions, weddings, parties and community events.
