Emerging artist/producer/dj/weirdo from brisbane. Into all electronic experimental sounds.

Owen Lawson and Jesse Adams bring you Sham Wedding. Inner west Rock and Roll both strange and demented with slight overtones of the delightful Garage and Punk genres. Owen provides a unique ‘rhythm guitar’ style lead focusing on distinguished and alluring riffs with a Waitts/Cobain-esque overwrought vocal style. Simple, punchy, and hard hitting drum grooves from Jesse go hand-in-hand. Newly formed in January 2016, Sham Wedding have only two gigs under their belt as well as a handful of studio tracks (release date TBA). The decision to release their debut single “Vanilla (Lady)” so soon was solely for the purpose of giving unsuspecting listeners a taste of what is to come. They are currently working on expanding their stage and online presence as well as looking for gigs left right and center, whilst keeping a keen eye out for a bassist that can support Sham Wedding’s unique melodies and memorable hooks. Have a listen, enjoy and stay tuned.
