my name is Shane.I grew up listening to my mothers records which mainly consisted of Bob Dylan, and When I was twelve years old I got my first guitar and immediately became fasinated with playing. I started playing giggs around town at 14 in various bands and continued to do so throughout my teens. Along the way I was always writing songs and keeping them in my bedroom until I finally decided I should record some. I set out to lay down some tracks in a little studio called wild island in the west of Ireland. one of the songs I recorded here "almost there" would later enter the Irish charts at number 31 gaining me national radio play and I also got to play live on some radio shows too. Since then I have come to Australia where Ive never experienced a music scene like any before. I immediately set out to write a bunch of new songs and recorded an EP in Fremantle Recording Studios. after two weeks of coffee and chain smoking!! Just Between Us was born...
