Shanny Niko is an R&B and soul artist from the southern suburbs of Brisbane, Australia. Originally from Aotearoa (NZ), she was surrounded by the genres of R&B/soul, reggae & musical theatre from an early age. From musical productions & being a former student at one of the most prestigious music academies in QLD, it’s safe to say this young woman has a thing or two on her musician resume. With a heavy influence by the likes of soulful powerhouses including Mya, Ashanti, Toni Braxton, Tynisha Keli & Donna Summer, Shanny hopes to bring a familiar vibe with her music with a modern twist to the table. She is definitely an artist to keep an eye on now being under the vocal direction of one of her major R&B inspirations and an EP due to be released within the next year, we can expect great things from this Brizzy bred artist!
