Shark Drive is an energetic four-piece from Toowoomba, comprised of four brothers aged 18-26. Informed by the likes of Green Day and They Might Be Giants, Shark Drive make sharp indie-rock/pop-punk songs about pizza, computer problems and social anxiety. In 2015 they released their debut EP, ‘What Happened to Cool’ along with a tongue-in-cheek, low budget music video for ‘What’s Happening to Me’. In August 2018, Shark Drive released their debut single ‘Insomnia’, boosted by a successful Queensland tour in support of the song. Thanks to their infectious, hooky tunes and ratbag attitudes, Shark Drive have supported such acts as viral Aussie surf-punk band The Chats and Australian punk legends Frenzal Rhomb. Currently, Shark Drive are in the process of recording their anticipated debut album, slated for release in mid-2022, alongside a slew of self-produced videos and many more live shows to be announced across Queensland.
