She's an Ocean is a Melbourne-based Indie band, which came together in early 2008. Their music combines epic crescendos with subtle folk undertones, and their lyrics are born out of childhood stories and personal experiences. The band is currently working on an EP (to be released early next year), and performing shows throughout Victoria. She's an Ocean is a five piece band, consisting of 2 guitars, vocals, and keys, with guest drums and bass. Before She's an Ocean, Micah Hodge (guitar, vocals) and Greg Kroussoratsky (lead guitar) created a band called Heart From Stone, and played shows with bands including The Middle East, Sundance Kids, and Antiskeptic. Then they were joined by Gabbi Cass (keys) earlier this year. Although a relatively new band, She's an Ocean has been very well received thoughout Melbourne and, with the help of a little publicity, could achieve rapid recognition. Driven by a love of music, this energetic and passionate band will welcome you in, and invoke
