SHEZBOT is the brainchild of Sydney-based songwriter and pianist Sheridan Morley, born out of a collection of songs written for piano and voice. After the current members met while studying music at university, Sheridan began busily adapting her tracks to be blasted out in a full band setting. Since mid-2011, Shezbot have been gigging consistently throughout the Sydney pub scene and drawing interest from notably diverse and ever-growing crowds. In March 2012, the band began recording their debut self-titled EP with Clayton Segelov at Sydney's The Brain Recording Studios. The EP is five-track odyssey through your favourite elements of prog, pop, and downright driving rock; an intricate exploration of death from the perspectives of four separate characters. It is due for launch and release in the coming months. Cover photo: Adrian Hong
