Born and raised in Adelaide, South Australia; shi'LO has always had an affinity for music. Being multifaceted and multi-disciplined within the medium has always been a large focus of the way shi'LO creates his art. Being able to mix styles is key, having an integral basis in Hip Hop and R&B but later in life developing a familiarity with Pop Punk, Reggaeton, Afrobeat and a slew of genres within Dance Music; shi'LO prides himself in never limiting his output. 2020 saw the creation of Adelaide based collective and supergroup BARKADA, that shi'LO formed alongside close friend and fellow rapper Vanz. Since then shi'LO has evolved in his sound to ensure that any and all solo projects are not only solely produced, written, mixed and mastered by himself, but also transcend the necessity of sticking to any kind of familiarity or pre conceived bias listeners might've had on him.
