Crawling off that pub-rock stage, drenched in sweat and red-eyed, Ships and Thieves was given life. From day one, their sound was fed a diet of Midnight Oil, The Saints and Radio Birdman, yet this creature is unafraid to let the pop shine through. Their energetic songs are shaped and crafted as a band in a South Melbourne warehouse. Ships and Thieves have just recorded their first album and are eager to be let loose - see them at one of Melbourne’s original music venues. Andrew Lane on drums, Rowan Roebig on bass/vocals and Cam McIntosh on guitar/vocals.
