Edit history

My name is Luke aka Shortlistt, I've been playing and writing music for about 10 years.I've played drums with numerous funk and metal outfits, and played guitar for a few solo female singers and soul collectives. In 2000 my band "Seventh" won JJJ unearthed in the Riverina region, the bands split soon after, and I have been producing my own material from my home studio since 2005, as well as remixing tracks for other artists I am associated with. In 2006 I discovered my love for electronic funk/soul and began experimenting with different synthesizers and computer software to capture sounds I felt were interesting and would add to my overall production sound. I like to create sounds that are very organic sounding and then manipulate in order to create something new that in my mind, is a new sound.Well hopefully you have gained a little insight into Shortlistt's world.Peace and love.
