The Shot is the project of Michael Bailey who is an established musician in Tasmania. His songs are about life and love and tell the stories of the challenges that brings. Michael lays down his tracks quickly to ensure honesty in the reproduction and increased emotion. He believes that over complicating production sucks emotion from the song. Sit back and listen to stories of lost loves, bad decisions and social awareness.
Shot are a three piece punk band frm sydney. Pav, Adam and Winstone met at a bar one night in 2007 and decided they would record an album. Pav and Adam bascially took a whole bunch of there favourite records and listened to them in one night. The next day they took their guitars down to an old converted milk bar where they started to craft the words and music acoustically. While the guys were busy writing Winstone went off on a pilgrimage to source interesting concepts for stage costumes. He quit his job and moved to a southern part of India where he took influence from the design of some of the local temples. The thing about Winstone is he has a meticulous eye for colours. Winstone really understands what colours can create a feeling and ambience, especially in a piece of clothing or head dress. On his return he was greeted with the words "Ahh Winstone.... You definately have done it again. Well done!" After placing the new items of clothing on their bodies and then carefully
