SIDELINES is the indie pop moniker of a Melbourne artist blending bedroom pop sensitivity with emo undercurrents. Having cut his teeth as the frontman of the pop-punk/emo band Snark and currently performing as guitarist/vocalist in All Regards, SIDELINES is a natural evolution of his creative journey. With a love for synths, catchy pop hooks, and emotionally charged lyrics, SIDELINES crafts music that feels like a late-night confessional wrapped in infectious melodies. SIDELINES tells the story of an artist caught in emotional flux — between optimism and pessimism, joy and melancholy. It’s about nostalgia for what’s lost, fear of what’s ahead, and the beauty of the present moment slipping away.
