An eclectic mix of smooth instrumentation, soulful vocals and deep electronic drum beats, SIGGI has an appetite for something a bit different. Through years of playing in and fronting Newcastle pop/rock band The Chestnuts, SIGGI takes a new direction with his solo project. Combining his ear for a catchy melody with his skills in modern music composition for film, the result is a drastic departure from the distorted guitars, driving bass lines and crashing drum kits. Credited during his time fronting The Chestnuts with JB Hi-Fi Scholarship awards for 'Best Commercial Track', 'Best Acoustic Track' and 'Best Male Vocal', as well as the 'Sonic Factory Award' form YouthRock, 'Urban Utopia' is the first demo EP from SIGGI and provides a coming-of-age for the Newcastle musician
